So for the observer it'd look like each person (holo person) you see in the simulation has it's own personality, in reality they are all controlled by the main computer Rather (like on a holodeck in startrek) it'll be the computer itself being sentient (or close to it) and (because it's a computer, it can do that) controlling each and every thing you see in the simulation. The way I see it though, a computer won't make seperate sentient AIs the way discribed here. You know, Science -> Fiction <- Maybe all ships are piloted by a single person afterall. So i guess at the very minimum 3000 people working on board.īut in the end, no one knows, except maybe Egosoft, since its their Universe. They might even need another whole crew-part just for those guns. The fighters in X dont have just guns and missiles, but also expensive and complicated energy-based weapons. M1 : Looking at todays carriers, the big ones like the Nimitz-Class with 333 meters in lenght, got the same or even more crew. i would say, depending on race and class, it varies between 15. Considering the automation with the higher thechnology. The ' Battleships ' of X are not only a lot longer, but higher etc. The Yamato-class, biggest and most powerfull battleship ever build, Was around 260 meters long and had a crew from 2700 - 3300. ![]() ![]() M2 : Comparing them to Battleships, 'cause they have pretty much have the same job. ![]() some are like 1.7 km long ( Panther ) and not that much smaller than a M1 or M2. M7 : depending on class, some hundreds to maybe a tad more than 1000. M6 : I would say a few dozens, less than 100 Fighters and Transports are easy to ' guess ' the crewnumbers.
